KNB EFX GROUP, INC
Acadamy Award winner – The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
"If I were a student and wanted to learn about becoming a Makeup Artist, I would enroll in Makeup Effects Group's Master Classes today! Getting the privilege to work side by side with Paul Katte on both Narnia films was an amazing thrill and experience. Even after so many years in the industry, I still learned so much from him. If KNB EFX needs anything done properly in Sydney, we turn to Paul and Nick at Make-up Effects Group. Their skill, talent and expertise have made them the leading Makeup Effects Studio in all of Australia."

"Make-up Effects Group’s Make up School is an impressive mix of state of the art facilities and industry professionals that are giving their valuable time to help produce a new, well educated group of artists. They are covering several areas that are sometimes neglected i.e. Hair Styling and on set etiquette. After having helped run a school a number of years ago, I am only too aware of the difficulties in making sure the school covers all bases. Make-up Effects Group has done that by offering top-level trainers and teachers that are currently working in the industry, possibly one of the most important single factors in my opinion. I am often asked for advice or suggestions from people wanting to find a school that will be worthwhile. I am sure we will see dedicated, talented and eager Make up Artists come from Make-up Effects Group’s Master Classes."

What I find inspiring about the Make-up Effects Group Master Classes is the opportunity the students have to work in a professional Working Studio whilst attending the course. The first hand knowledge they acquire will be invaluable for their future career.
Julia Avenell
Departmental Coordinator - Production & Resources, AFTRS
"AFTRS is pleased to be using Make-up Effects Group students on its productions because we know that under Louise, Paul and Nick’s expert guidance the student's will learn all the skills they need to work on set. The new Studio is modern and well designed - the perfect environment to learn the art and get inspired. I was fascinated by the amazing work being created there, especially all the creatures that looked so life-like, the detail so incredibly perfect. I was also particularly impressed with the session on period Hair and Wigs that the students were doing when we visited."
